In our ongoing commitment to preserving the beauty of the Topsail area, ECO Topsail collaborates with the NCDOT through a volunteer program. We've adopted a 2-mile stretch along Highway 210, N. New River Dr., from the Surf City Bridge to the Pender County Line. Conducting quarterly cleanups, we diligently remove litter to maintain the scenic allure of this region.
The incredible help we receive from volunteers is genuinely appreciated, and the impact of their efforts is truly spectacular. Amidst our dedicated cleanup crew, a standout contributor emerged – the whimsically named "Helping Barbie." This honorary mascot added a touch of humor to our conservation endeavors, uplifting the atmosphere with plastic fantastic charm and infectious enthusiasm.
With gratitude for all participants and a nod to the comical presence of Helping Barbie, our community-driven efforts persist in keeping Topsail beautiful. Together, we ensure that the Topsail area remains a haven of natural beauty for generations to come, blending community spirit with a sprinkle of humor.
